I thing the two most difficult genres to write are sci-fi and mysteries. They both require a particular knowledge and much attention to detail.
Did you create those most charming covers?
I so enjoy getting to know more about you, Livia.Sarah J. Wolfe is interesting because he is so different and indolent, a thinking machine with all those interests in orchids, cuisine and Belgian beers. And Archie the action man. Splendid.

KeithKeith Souterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15206349930107528691noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2436693488493674576.post-24799048523400553812014-02-25T15:01:05.871-07:002014-02-25T15:01:05.871-07:00Thanks Kristy, I never think of making covers as w...Thanks Kristy, I never think of making covers as work. It's a modern mystery with some Texas history for the 9-11 age reading level.

Mending Fences was written after a family gathering where I learned some history about the fence cutting war from my husband's family and that some of the fence that was cut and mended was still standing. You didn't mention that you'd written a children's book, "THE PHANTOM RANGER AND THE SKATEBOARD GANG", in collaboration with James--I bring this up because I just loved that book so much! (I'm hoping for a sequel or two somewhere down the road.)

I love the picture you created in my mind of you, sitting with the doggies and the laptop, writing away! I've enjoyed working with you the past 6 months at Prairie Rose Publications--no one could ask for a better partner!

Great interview. I just received "Mending Fences" yesterday and hope to be able to start on that in the next few days! I'm really looking forward to it.

Cheryl Cheryl Piersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18116526340220274282noreply@blogger.com
